          Account Executive (FT) All Stations (job reference #AE0110-01):  These positions will prospect, market and service advertising air time. To achieve revenue and shared goals set by Sales Managers.  Develop new advertisers by soliciting area businesses. Duties include, collection of monies owed for advertising, management of accounts with an eye toward producing results for advertisers and enhancing radio station revenues and profitability.  Candidates must have a successful history of media or other outside sales performance.  Computer literacy and professional presentation abilities are essential.  Prior sales experience and new business development skills are a must.  Outstanding marketing/presentation skills are required.  Must be highly motivated to succeed in a competitive environment.  Position requires a person with high energy, outgoing personality, strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy, valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; College Degree Strongly Preferred.

                       Research Specialist (FT) All Stations (job reference #AE0310-01):  This position will be responsible for preparation and creation of research materials for the sales department at Clear Channel Orlando’s seven radio stations.  Duties will include obtaining market, media and consumer information to create sales research analysis for clients and advertising campaigns, as well as preparation of charts, graphs, and one-sheets to assist clients and media buyers in making informed media purchases.  On a daily basis, the Research Specialist will work by assignment from General Sales Managers, as well as ultimately recommending new sales pieces that will further the interest of Clear Channel’s media assets.  Miscellaneous clerical duties will be assigned as required.  The ideal candidate will have a successful history of critical thinking, data analysis, and creativity, with the ability to find patterns and trends in data and make them attractive and easy to understand.  Computer proficiency in visually depicting research is essential, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as outstanding general written presentation skills.   Must be highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment.  Position requires a person with high energy, strong work ethic, and exceptional communication skills.  College degree strongly preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.   Posting Date:  August 12, 2010
 
 

PROMOTIONS

 
            Promotions Assistant (PT) All Stations (job reference #PR03010-02):    The ideal candidates will assist the promotions department in effectively and efficiently executing events with a large visible street presence.  You must enjoy working in a team environment, communicate effectively, and assist with station event planning and execution, as directed.   Must be 18 years or older, able to work a flexible schedule (including weekend and evening events) at least 15-20 hours a week.   Must work well under pressure and have the willingness and ability to learn how to operate promotional equipment.  Knowledge of word processing, database entry and accurate typing abilities needed.  Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.  Ability to lift objects in excess of 25 lbs. is required.  Duties include the set-up and breakdown of promotional event equipment.  High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; College Degree Strongly Preferred.   Please submit applications/resumes no later than August 28, 2010.   Posting Date: July 1, 2010.
